Frequently Asked Questions
How do I volunteer? Choose your city above, and sign up to volunteer on your city’s volunteer calendar.
Do I need a volunteer waiver? Our volunteer waiver is part of the online registration process. For most volunteer opportunities, no other forms are needed.
Can I bring a group? Yes! Whether you are coming with your company, church, family, or friends, we would love to have your group join us in serving our neighbors in need. For assistance making group reservations, contact Erin Campos at email@example.com, and be sure to mention your city.
Can I just show up when I want to volunteer instead of signing up? No, due to limited space you must reserve your spot on our online calendar.
Can I get my volunteer hours verified? Yes, please bring your verification forms with you to every volunteer shift, and check in with your volunteer supervisor at the end of the shift.
What is the volunteer age requirement? Most volunteer opportunities are available for volunteers aged 14 years and older.
What can kids under the age of 14 do to help? Kids can host a drive and collect hygiene items, socks, toys, or other needed goods. They can also do a creative project like making placemats for our dining hall or encouraging cards for our overnight guests.
