About this opportunity

CityTeam's mobile pantries bring proteins, dairy, fresh produce, and dry goods from our warehouse into neighborhoods at convenient, accessible locations. Pantries run as Drive-Up, Walk-Up, or Door-to-Door delivery.

What volunteering looks like

  • Moving food with dollies and rolling carts
  • Setting up tables and canopies
  • Engaging with neighbors respectfully and joyfully
  • Helping guests load grocery carts or vehicles

Why it matters

Mobile pantries relieve the cost of groceries for families struggling to make ends meet and reach families without transportation. Guests leave with more than groceries; they leave with a sense of community.

What to know before you come

  • Dress modestly and comfortably, and wear closed-toe shoes.
  • Gloves must be worn when handling raw foods.
  • Please do not bring valuables.
  • Children must be 10 or older to volunteer at walk-up distributions with a parent. Both must register.
  • All volunteers must be 14 or older at drive-thru distributions.
  • CityTeam does not accept court-ordered volunteers at this time.
