About this opportunity

Hope Café gives our guests an exceptional dining experience: a warm and welcoming dinner with place settings, table hosts, servers, and a gourmet meal. It is more than a meal. It is a time for guests to feel loved and valued.

Sample schedule

  • 3:30 PM: Check-in and overview of CityTeam
  • 3:45 PM: Training and report to assigned service area
  • 4:30 PM: Meal service for residents
  • 5:00 PM: Meal service for guests
  • 5:45 PM: Hope Café closes and clean-up begins
  • 6:10 PM: Debrief and dismissal

What to know before you come

  • Volunteers must be 14 or older.
  • Wear long pants, closed-toe shoes, and a t-shirt. Modest clothing only.
  • No jewelry or personal belongings. Please leave bags in your locked car.
  • Be able to walk, bend, lift, and stand.
  • Parking is very limited. Carpooling is encouraged.
