CityTeam facilitates mentorships so residents can share their life experience, receive counsel, and ask questions
Mentors provide judgment-free spiritual guidance, and exemplify a new way of life
Through a genuine trusting relationship, beliefs and behaviors can be invited to evolve
Residents graduate with a healthy relationship; a mentor can provide counsel as they transition out of CityTeam's care
Mentor Qualifications
Be committed to following the ways of Jesus and the Christian faith
Have a compassionate listening ear for residents overcoming trauma and substance abuse
Be and active member of a church community with a recommendation from a spiritual leader
Have willingness to share their own personal life experience
