Family Services is empowering families to improve the quality of their life. This begins with helping families lacking basic essentials.

We distribute clothing, furniture, appliances, household goods and beds to thousands of families in Silicon Valley. Each family is also offered counseling and weekly support in order to help them make the necessary changes in their life. The personal touch of going to the homes of needy families communicates the message of hope and new possibilities loud and clear.

Services Offered Include:

  • Family Pantry Program
Families may receive a box of food including canned meals, bread, frozen and fresh meat and dairy products.
  • Family Vital Day
Disadvantaged families are served clothing, furniture and household items.
  • Emergency Assistance
If you have a special emergency need, priority assistance is offered to families in crisis. This assistance includes select furniture items, bedding, food and clothing.
  • Vital Connections
Weekly small groups for women - offering assistance with food, clothing & household items, support and training in life skills and personal recovery. Childcare is also provided.
  • ESL and Literacy Skills
Fall and Spring classes are offered.
  • Career Counseling
Specialized support is offered to those needing help with career development and basic computer skills.
  • Bags of Love
Food is distributed door to door in needy neighborhoods
  • Monthly Neighborhood Events
