What kinds of things to donate
We solely rely on personal donations both financial and Gifts in Kind to support Heritage Home. Financial gifts allow us to purchase the things we need most.
We are constantly in need of maternity clothes. The women who come to us usually are wearing the only clothes they own and are unprepared for the months ahead in their pregnacy. So donated maternity clothes are a great help.
As for the babies that come home to Heritage Home after the birth - there are many items we need for them. Used strollers, car seats and baby monitors are deserparately needed for the safety of the babies.
We currently need the following items for our supply closet:
- "Snap and Go" strollers by "Baby Trend"
- Newborn clothes ( 0-3 months for all seasons)
- Breast Pads
- Breast milk storage Bags
- Newborn diapers
- Advent bottles 4 oz with liners
- Bottle brushes
- Infant hats
- Infant socks
- Infant hand mittens
- Baby monitors
- Baby baths for infants
Diapers, Enfamil formula, wipes, bottles, baby clothes (from newborn -6mo.) and other baby items are also always needed items. These women have very little and rely on donations to help them care for their new babies. So what ever you can do to help would be greatly appreciated.
