and Praise
Praise that our remodel project for our shelter bathrooms/showers is complete.
Praise that all of the funding for our Computer Learning Center has been raised and that the Center will open in November, 2007.
Praise that our recovery program graduates are returning to CityTeam to volunteer as Bible study leaders, mentors, and leaders in a variety of capacities. They are an inspiration and an example of what a redeemed heart and a recovered man looks like to those men who are still in our residential program!
Praise for a growing number of community business partners supporting the work of God through CityTeam.
Pray for the ladies joining us for our Women Only Hours. Several of the homeless ladies are pregnant and, although they are not currently using drugs, their unborn babies have been exposed. Pray for the health of these unborn little ones.
Pray for the families that CityTeam will be serving during the holidays. As we deliver food boxes, pray that opportunities will open up for us to connect with these families on a spiritual level, as well.
Pray for our Local Advisory Council members and our Church Planters as they face uncertain health, business and financial issues. We are so grateful for their leadership in the community and at CityTeam Portland. |
