Help Support Camp MayMac's Summer Staff

Join us in welcoming the CityTeam's Camp MayMac Summer Staff of 2008

This is a group of caring and compassionate young individuals who are mentoring hundreds of inner city kids this summer. They are a hard working group who are providing a safe and nurturing environment for the campers. Up at the crack of dawn supervising activities way into the evening as they gather around the campfire. These summer staff members are working hard. Each counselor has several jobs to do. Some are teaching kids how to swim at the pool, where others are showing kids how to ride mountain bikes at our BMX course. Some counselors have amazing gifts of drama, singing, playing instruments and crafts and the list goes on and on. Throughout each day counselors have the opportunity to share their lives and explain how they deal with everyday obstacles while relying on God’s strength. For many of these kids, camp will be the only chance they get to escape the inner city or apartment complex and see nature.

Each camp counselor invites friends, family and church members to support them in their summer ministry as they serve the needs of disadvantaged, inner city kids at CityTeam’s Camp MayMac. Donations will help our camp program and year round programs for the kids including: clothing, after school programs, backpacks, food boxes, winter camp, outings, and other essential care.
