Arkansas Floods take a toll on the homes in Baxter County: Join CityTeam Disaster Response in Restoring Homes and Lives
A CityTeam Disaster Response crew is at the scene of the flood zone helping families survive this devastating disaster. We are half way to our goal of raising $100, 000 to aid in the restoration of damaged homes in Baxter County.
A home base of operation has been set up in Norfork, AR where teams of volunteers are working tirelessly on the restoration of 11 homes that were severely damaged by the flood waters.
In the midst of this disaster, families who have suffered a great loss are finding reasons to smile and be encouraged. We have been blessed with multiple opportunities to minister to them through prayer and by meeting their felt needs.
Our next group of volunteers is scheduled to arrive on May 10, 2008 to continue the clean-up effort. Please continue to pray for our volunteer teams and the families they are serving.
